At OVERTHESEA, we believe in creating more than just fashion—we create investment pieces. Our customers, or “mermaids” as we call them, invest in pieces that go beyond just aesthetics. These pieces aren’t just for one season—they are meant to become cherished items in your wardrobe, embodying memories, feelings, and a sense of personal style.

“I spent so much time with my grandmother during my childhood—she was a true fashionista. One day, she gave me a beautiful gift: a silky blouse with embroidery and pearl buttons. I still own this blouse, and it remains for me not only timeless and always trendy, but much more importantly, it carries a sense of soul, history, and emotional value.

Only later did I realize that, unconsciously, I wanted to create dresses with the same feelings for OVERTHESEA mermaids-customers. Today, in the fashion industry, it’s called “investment pieces,” but for OVERTHESEA, it all started with a genuine emotional impulse. The definition came later from our marketing team.”

OVERTHESEA has a deep and powerful connection with nature, drawing inspiration from its beauty and strength. We feel like daughters of our beautiful Mother Earth, and we are incredibly grateful for its elements. Nature is our constant source of fantasy and aesthetics, shaping everything we create.

We are committed to being as sustainable as possible. OVERTHESEA does not support overproduction or fast fashion principles of mass quantity and compromised quality. Instead, we produce a limited amount of stock, and many of our items are made-to-order. This means that a dress will only be produced once it has found its client-mermaid, ensuring that every piece is intentional and cherished.
